Yay today is my birthday! I'm 23 today ^____^ I got a phone call this morning from my grandma which was SUPER nice because she and I barely get to talk! I also got a card from her in the mail with a $25 check. Then Dave took me birthday shopping and got me the Littlest Pet Shop Panda Bears (because I love pandas) and some clothes. Hubby truly did make me feel like a princess today. He took me everywhere I wanted to go, literally, even the mall and he HATES the mall! Then we went home, dropped off our groceries and stuff, packed up our music equipment and took Logan over to my mom's house. She gave me a card with a $30 check in it! Woohoo! I'm going shopping! Boooyah! Then we went out to Joe's (my drummer and my best male friend) and the band had me a birthday cake, $10 and a big box of girl scout cookies. We played music for a few hours and had pizza. It was such a great time! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday. It's been about 3 years since I had a really enjoyable one like that. Also all of my wonderful friends on the Arena have been telling me Happy Birthday all day and Wrangler posted a thread for me which was stickied and is already 3 pages long! LOL! What awesome people! I got both breezie train sets and the last 6 birthflower ponies I needed for my birthday from her, LunaCat got me Crystal Crown, LadyDayDreamer and Plat got me Royal Twist! WOOHOO for ponies on my birthday! ^____^ All in all it really was a wonderful day!

Of course mom had to come up with a stupid fucking excuse not to watch my son for me today so I could go to band practice. I'm so sick and tired of whenever I have anything that's going to go on, something usually happens to fuck it up. I need the FUCK out of the house and I can't even get out! I'm so sick of it. She hasn't seen him in damned near 2 weeks. You'd think she'd be a better grandmother but fuck no, she has to be like this and quite frankly I'm sick to death of it. How the fuck are we supposed to have a band if I can't practice? Dave went and left me and Logan at home by ourselves, so here I am after sitting at home alone ALL DAY LONG I'm home all alone again at night. I'm so tired of it. I'm sick to death of being alone, I'm sick to death of never getting out of this house and not doing anything. I'm so fed up with the way my life is and there isn't a damn thing I can do about it. I've just had it. I'm tired of being lonely, I'm tired of feeling sad and depressed. I'm just sick and fucking tired of it all.

When somebody who is supposed to be your friend makes fun of something you worked very hard on, like art. Everybody knows how passionate and serious I am when it comes to any form of art I make. Wether it be musically, sketching, drawing ponies, coloring, anything. Well I did a drawing of my Princess Morning Star and one of my good friends made fun of it after I spent about 9 hours on the whole fucking drawing. This is the drawing....

She said her hair looked like a bouffant from the B-52s and she even posted that it was cracking her up. I'm sorry, I don't know if she was trying to be funny for not, but that was just like a stab in the gut right there. I thought she looked really beautiful with her hair up like that...now I feel like she just looks stupid...I'm probably just being dumb, but I really take my art seriously and to have a friend make fun of it just hurts...

So we were supposed to hang out with Joe and his family for the 4th today. He was supposed to call us and tell us how to get to his family's house. They invited us. THEY NEVER FUCKING CALLED!!!! We have no fireworks to celebrate the 4th with, nobody to spend it with and we're stuck at home alone. This just totally fucking blows. I am so totally upset and just bummed. I wanted to do something fun this year and Joe fucked us over by not even bothering to call and tell us where to go. *sighs* oh well. Maybe we'll have better luck next year.

and now for some good news

The guys in the band got me a gift on Sunday! They bought me the new My Little Pony Twirlerina! She's a blue pegasus and she's so pretty! I was so shocked and surprised! When they told me to sit down and close my eyes I thought they were going to play this huge joke on me or something. I totally didn't expect a pony! She's going to be named "The Band Pony" and we're going to take her on the tour bus (hopefully someday!) with us! A friend of mine is going to make her some black and white stripey socks for her legs! Oh I can't wait! :P Well I'm off to spend the 4th doing nothing. Hope everybody else is having a great one.

This is really totally beginning to suck. WHY can't I sleep at night??? I've been trying to lay down and get some sleep for the past week and all I've been getting on an average is about 3-5 hours a night and with a 2 year old waking up sooooo early in the freakin morning that's not good. I just feel completely and totally wasted, like I have no energy to even stand up. All I want to do is just sit down or lay down because I am so drained. My days are always so busy with my son and then my husband comes home from work and I have to cook dinner, clean house, wash dishes and do laundry and I haven't had the energy to even do that for the last couple of days because I'm so worn down. It's so weird, like, I'll lay down around midnight and I will toss and turn until about 3:30am and it's close to 4 when I fall asleep. Then my son usually has me up anywhere between 7-9 am depending on how late he was up the previous night. It's really starting to take a toll on me. I can't wait until my hubby's work schedule is back to normal and he has days off so we can be together and he can help me with Logan so I can have a fucking break. I'm so beyond stressed and overwhelmed that I think that could be what's affecting my sleeping pattern. *cries* I just want to have a full, good night's sleep ;__; What sucks even more as yesterday all througout the day I kept dozing off on the couch and just when I'd start to fall asleep I'd that "seizurish" feeling (I'm epileptic) and it just literally did not feel good at all. I'm even too scared to sleep because I don't want that feeling. I don't want to start having seizures again.

Last night Dave was playing this awesome riff on his guitar. He just started writing it and the beginning is so low tuning, deep and heavy and I pulled out my lyrics tablet right away and started flipping through some songs and I found the perfect one. It's called My Nightmare and ZOMG the verses to this song are going to be so deep and heavy but when you hit the chorus it flies into this almost operatic, heavy rock sound but not so low, think high tuning! I think I'm going to add some piano to the beginning verse but I think I'll keep it out of the 2nd verse. This song just totally rocked my socks off so much last night. I can't wait to play again! But sadly we aren't playing until *cries* Wednesday! ;_; I don't know if I can even wait that long! It's gonna drive me nuts until then! I think maybe Dave is wanting to see if we can play on Sunday after Joe is done at church. The only problem we have with Wednesday is that I don't know if my mom or my stepdad Lonny have the day off to watch my son while we practice and my son's too little to be in the room while we're jamming. It would bust his little ear drums! So yeah enough of my mild rambling, I just thought I'd post that because I'm so excited about this band I can hardly contain myself! I've been writing some pretty cool stuff on the piano too so I'm hoping maybe I can collaborate that into some of the guitar work hubby is doing. Ah the power of music, I do love it. Well I need to drag my ass into Photoshop and get to work on these stupid art commissions but it seems here lately I just haven't much inspiration to work on them *sighs* but it's something that needs to be done. Anyway, maybe more laters people :)

ehehe I'm a little anxious about getting it done, okay I'm REALLY anxious about getting it done, but how the fuck CAN we get it done if Joe's wife makes it difficult on us to even TALK to him on the phone about the band >.< I'm so fucking sick of it, like seriously. I'm so worried she's going to screw this up for him. for us, for the whole band! I mean I don't get the bitch. She sits there and is all "Well I know this is his dream and I'm just being selfish" and she calls herself out on the things she does but she STILL continues to do them. I don't want to lose my band ;_; I mean hell I can't even talk to Joe on the phone anymore because she freaks out *sigh*

Yeah done with that little rant. Now it's time for another one. Dave came home and was all "baby I wanna spend time with you" so I fix his dinner, take it to him and he turns on this concert and starts watching it. Not even 10 minutes into the concert he starts falling asleep. Well Logan got loud and it woke him up and he got pissy. So we're sitting on the couch and I start talking to him and right in the middle of me talking to him he goes to sleep again ;_; sheesh all I want is some time with my husband. Is that too much to ask? I wish we could go over to Joe's tonight and jam. I really need it.
